Hello Techstravaganza Friends! Happy Tuesday!
This is just a friendly reminder that our upcoming Techstravaganza will take place tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, August 13, 2025) from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Eastern. Techstravaganza is an ongoing weekly workshop, so you will not need to register every week. Please note that all sessions will be recorded for your reference and your listening enjoyment.
Special Announcement:
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you all that Techstravaganza 2.0 will be changing date and time. We are excited to announce that Techstravaganza 2.0 will be moving from the second Saturday of each month to the second Thursday evening of the month, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern. This change will be in effect as of Thursday, August 14. This will allow for everyone to enjoy weekend time with friends and loved ones,and for those who are unable to attend Wednesday afternoon workshops to spend an evening with us and explore the world of assistive and mainstream technology. Please stay tuned to the newsletter on Wednesday, August 13, as it will contain the conference information as well as the agenda for this Thursday evening’s workshop.

On last week’s workshop, we had a slight change of agenda; we took an in depth look at accessing and customizing the Control Centre on the iPhone. On this week’s workshop, we will explore how to customize the VoiceOver commands for accessing the Home Screen, App Switcher, Notification Centre and Control Centre etc. Next Wednesday, August 20, Amanda will be back with a tutorial on using InnoSearch within the BeMyEyes app. As such, Please note that any topic that we do not cover during this coming session will be carried over to Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
