Techstravaganza is an ongoing weekly workshop, so you will not need to register every week. Please note that all sessions will be recorded for your reference and your listening enjoyment.

Special Announcement:

We would like to take this opportunity to announce that Techstravaganza 2.0 will be changing date and time. We are excited to announce that Techstravaganza 2.0 will be moving from the second Saturday of each month to the second Thursday evening of the month, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Eastern. This will allow for everyone to enjoy weekend time with friends and loved ones,and for those who are unable to attend Wednesday workshops to spend an evening with us and explore the world of assistive and mainstream technology. Please stay tuned to the newsletter on Wednesday, August 13, as it will contain the conference information as well as the agenda.

On this week’s Techstravaganza, we will continue our in depth tutorial on InnoSearch. It can be used on a computer on their official website, or as part of the BeMyEyes app for iPhone and Android. Last week, we took a look at InnoSearch on the Web. On tomorrow’s workshop, Amanda Cape will show us how to access InnoSearch as part of the BeMyEyes app. Time permitting after our InnoSearch tutorial, we will take a look at the Control Centre on the iPhone.

Here is the recording for our Techstravaganza workshop for Wednesday, July 23, 2025, in which we looked at the Notification Centre on the iPhone and the iPad. As per participants’ request, we also took a look at Shared Lists in the Reminders app, which allows for two or more people to collaborate on a shared reminders list.

Here is the recording for last week’s Techstravaganza for Wednesday, July 16, in which we took an indepth look at how to rearrange the home screen on the iphone and iPad to your liking. We looked at how to move apps to other locations on the home screen, such as on the dock or in a folder. We also took a look at how to delete apps and remove them from the home screen into the app library without deleting them.
