This is just a quick update to the agenda for our workshop for Wednesday, October 1, 2025. The original plan was to begin taking a look at podcast player apps on the iPhone and the iPad starting on Wednesday, October 1. However, as iOS 26 has just ben released 3 weeks ago, we will instead take a look at what is new in iOS 27, both in the operating system itself and various VoiceOver enhancements that have been introduced. As such, our multi-part series on podcast player apps will begin on Wednesday, October 8. Please also note that I will be away on Wednesday, October 1 due to a prior commitment. As such, next Wednesday’s tutorial will be under the capable guiance of Ali Moosa. As Google Meet is experiencing ongoing issues preventing many iPhone and iPad users from being able to join in the meetings using the Google Meet app, we have sent in countless bug reports to Google, however the issue has yet to be addressed. As such, we have made a permanent switch back to Zoom which will take effect starting this Wednesday, August 20, and will no longer be returning to Google Meet after this switch.

Nope they will not. It only another platform, reminders and updates will be posted.
