This is a friendly reminder of our upcoming Techstravaganza which will take place tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday, June 24, 2026) from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Eastern.
Please be advised that this is an ongoing weekly workshop. All workshops are recorded and posted immediately afterwards for your reference. They are also podcasted, so you can follow and listen on your podcasting platform of choice. we recommend that you please join in 15 minutes prior to the workshop, in order to ensure that your setup is working correctly. If you are running into any difficulties, i.e. finding the link, joining the workshop, setting up your microphone etc., please reach out to us 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start time, in order to allow us the time we need to troubleshoot before the workshop begins. Also, please be advised that the Zoom studio is setup so that everyone is muted upon entry, in order to prevent background noise when coming into the studio.

Special Announcement!
As we are running into issues as of late when hosting meetings on Zoom, including issues with screen share, audio setup and recording, we have done some extensive testing with Google Meet, and realized that it is a more accessible platform that will allow us to run the meetings a lot more smoothly and reliably in the long run as they have made significant improvements to the platform. As such, Techstravaganza workshops will be moving permanently over to Google Meet starting at the beginning of September. Please rest assured that we are happy to help each and every one of you, in order to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible for everyone. As such, we will be setting up virtual office hours throughout the three months leading up to September, both on a group and individual basis, in order to ensure that everyone is properly set up. Please note that our first group office hours session will take place on Thursday, June 25, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Eastern. In case you are unable to join the Meet studio, we have also set up a Zoom studio which you can come into as your starting point, and we will be happy to help you get on to Google Meet as smoothly as possible. Please see tomorrow’s newsletter, which will have the information for both the Google Meet and Zoom studios.
coming Up
On this week’s Techstravaganza, Ali is back at the virtual podium to give us a guided tour of Gmail on the Web. On a previous workshop, we explored it on the Windows platform, and tomorrow Ali will walk us through it on the Mac. It is going to be a funfilled tutorial, and I hope that you will enjoy it as much as we enjoy putting the tutorials together!
